Sony Blu Ray BDP-S350 setup to use BD Live Options

Anyone know how to set up the Sony Blu Ray? I've hooked it up with an Ethenet cable but it doesn't work. When I run the network diagnostic it fails but sees the router. What am I missing?

The player needs to have a 1GB or larger USB flash drive installed in the EXT slot on the rear of the machine.
