I have FIOS installed at my home 2 days ago, standard resolution DVR in one room, Set-Top box (STB) in the other room. I can watch shows recorded on the DVR from the STB.
Issues:
- The skip forward button does not work in the STB: the graphic-bar show as-if the movie is being forwarded few seconds, but then it returns back to where it was with the whole picture getting puzzy for few seconds...
- Is there a way to sort the shows recorded on the DVR in alphabetical order? It's silly that they are sorted by the date they were recorded.
- Why can't I see the full description/text of the shows? It always shows the beginning of the text and nothing beyond that. The INFO button does nothing.
- Does Verizon really ever update the shows available as Free video-on-demand (for kids)? It seems it's the same shows all the time.
Up untile recently I was a Dish Networks customer and their DVR and system is much more advanced than Verizon's. I am very disappointed with Verizon's DVR.
