THe installer for FIOS TV put the wrong zip code into our programming. We get the weather for Pomona, not for Huntington Beach. I WANT HB to be the default location. We cannot change it. We’re told to use the widgets. Big deal. Why do we have to put up with this? I am told we have to reprogram the whole set top box in order to change the default weather channel. Someone told us to put the box into the freezer for 2 hours and it will help! Why? I don’t want the bother of reconnecting all the wires on the back of the box. Anyone help, please? Trying to use the internet to resolve this problem is a joke. It automatically sends me to FIOS internet links. Not helpful at all. I am ready to go back to DISH at this point.

I would suggest calling FiOS technical support. They should be able to resolve your issue over the phone.

to reset the zip code for widgets all you have to do is pull up the widgets screen, press options and put the correct zip code. you can do all of that from your remote.
