I am in West Caldwell NJ, and am considering ordering FIOS at $79.99 per month, for the first 6 months (until I add DVRs, etc).
The mailed FIOS promotions and their website refer to the promotional rate "plus fees and taxes", but they make it hard (impossible?) to find out what those fees and taxes amount to. Beyond the state taxes and maybe FCC-mandated fees, I'm imagaining a hefty one-time "installation fee", or an arbitrary monthly "convenience fee" or "electron recycling fee" that goes straight into their pocket without being reflected in the promotional rate.
Could someone please share the line item descriptions and amounts from their first bill, and tell which were repeated on later bills?
