I have several tvs and plan to set up a cordless phone system. Going to FIOS, does each tv box need to be connected to a phone line to get channel guides, pay for view, etc., or is the communication accomplished through the RG-6 tv cable? Thanks, gelfandn@optonline.net

There is no phone connection on the FiOS set top boxes. Everything is done over the coaxial (RG-6) cable.
