Overall I like my FIOS system but there are a number of changes I would like to suggest. Probably to the tech people, but the phone, even the tech help desk is no use. And I am taking about suggested software changes, like the pause time, or skip forward others have mentioned. I really hate that VOD is lo-fi, little HD, and "modified to fit your TV". I have an HD TV, don't want it modified!! Also the channel display lasts way too long after changing channels (now it doesn't go to the clock at all unless I turn off the STB. This is a HD-DVR if that matters.)

Also, when you are searching for a VOD movie, page down, and down, and down, watch a preview, it throws you back to the top of the list. Frustrating.

When you record a program, watch midway, then pause until past the end of the program, when you go back to "DVR-Recorded Programs" and select that program, I think it only allows a "Watch" option and starts at the midway point rather than giving you the "Watch from start" option. Can't explain, but it is annoying to me.

So how do we express these frustrations to the powers that be?

Thanks. Other frustrations?

Suggestions made to tech support and customer service reps probably won't go anywhere. I'd recommend continuing to post on websites and forums like this one. One in particular I'd suggest is the Verizon Policy Blog. You can comment on press releases etc, which will likely get read by someone high up within Verizon.
