I’m on the verge of getting rid of Comcast Digital Cable and getting Verizon FIOS TV and Internet. For many months I’ve had signal problems on some of my TVs. Comcast has been here three times and can’t find the problem. They say there must be a problem inside the walls and the next step is re-wiring our home. If I experience the same problem with FIOS, will Verizon do any re-wiring inside our walls? Will we have to pay for it?

By default Verizon will use the existing coaxial cable if it is compatible (RG-6) or better and there will be no charge to install the first 3 TV's. If there is a problem with the existing wiring, or at your request, Verizon will re-wire an existing outlet or install a new outlet at the rate of $54.99 per outlet. You could also get an electrician to rewire the coaxial cable in your house, but this would likely be more expensive.
